- I am a member of the BlueGene architecture team. BlueGene/L is a highly parallel, low power supercomputer. A 104K node BlueGene/L was number one on the Top 500 Supercomputer list from November 2004 though November 2007. It is now number 2 on the June 2008 Top 500 list. A 40K node second generation machine, BlueGene/P is number 3 on the June 2008 list. I have contributed to many aspects of the BlueGene hardware architecture, including the networks and DMA. I have also contributed to the logic verification and bringup of these machines, as well as to efficient messaging algorithms.
