An economic lot-sizing technique, Part II: Mathematical analysis of the part-period algorithm

The Part Period Algorithm discussed in Part I is compared with optimal solutions, determining the maximum deviations possible. Optimality of the algorithm is established for the case of constant demand. Performance characteristics are compared with those of the Least Unit Cost algorithm.
